British military personnel view the SitaWare Insight intelligence management software. SitaWare Insight is intended to support staff across intelligence, planning, and operations at all levels of command. (Systematic)
Systematic is seeking to bring its SitaWare command-and-control (C2) systems to more customers within the US armed forces, Mike Rountree, senior vice-president of business development for Systematic, told Janes on 7 October ahead of the Association of the US Army (AUSA) conference in Washington, DC.
SitaWare is a full-stack battle management suite of software consisting of three software products that provide C2 and situational awareness capabilities from the lowest level of the battlefield to the highest level of command, including coalition or joint force headquarters, Rountree said. It can be purchased as the full stack or as individual elements to meet the needs of the user, he added. The multidomain solution offers robust land, sea, and air capabilities.
SitaWare Headquarters (HQ) is designed for the division level up to the highest joint force echelon, Rountree said. The software can be distributed across mobile sites or in fixed command posts. It is flexible and scalable to the size of the force employing it, he continued.
SitaWare Frontline is designed for mobility on a tablet or within a vehicle. It is a “lighter form of the software. It retains many of the same functionality that Headquarters does”, Rountree said. The lowest-level product is SitaWare Edge, which is built for handheld Android devices.
