Turkey’s Koluman Otomotiv Endustri AS revealed a LSA4 4×4 light strike vehicle (LSV) that is being marketed in several different configurations.
The first model has a crew of four and is fitted with an open roof with roll-over bar protection, and a left-hand drive configuration.

The front passenger, typically the vehicle commander, is provided with a pintle-mounted 7.62 mm machine gun (MG) and with a .50 MG mounted on the roof. Mounted at each corner of the LSA4 is a bank of four electrically operated smoke grenade launchers.
The company said it has a curb weight of 2,950 kg when fitted with the baseline armour, which is STANAG 4569 Level 1a/1lb, and with an integrated mine protection kit.
Gross vehicle weight (GVW) is 6,000 kg, Koluman said, which leaves a payload of up to 3,450 kg for crew, fuel, weapons, and ammunition.
The LSA4 is powered by a Ford five-cylinder common rail turbocharged diesel engine developing 260hp, which is coupled to a ZF automatic transmission with six forward and one reverse gears – providing a maximum road speed of 140 km/h with a road range of up to 800 km. Its suspension system consists of solid beam floating axles with radius arms, long travel shock absorbers, and roll stabilisers.
Standard equipment includes a front-mounted hydraulic winch, underslung light points, and anti-slid braking system.
The first version is a four-door configuration with a drop tail gate at the rear, but a number of other versions are available such as a logistics, casualty evacuation, and command-and-control vehicle.
