Janes Welcomes Sheetal Shah as General Counsel

Janes, the trusted global agency for open-source defence intelligence, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sheetal Shah as General Counsel. In her role she will act as the Chief Legal Officer for Janes.

“I am excited to join as General Counsel particularly at this crucial time as Janes is progressing towards the next phase of becoming a truly data and analytics business ,” Sheetal said, adding, “In my role I’m looking forward to partnering with the leadership and wider team to execute the strategy, focusing on the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance whilst delivering top-class legal support.”

Sheetal spent a decade at RELX Plc as the Head of Legal for Accuity, Cirium and was responsible for the global legal function of the business . Prior to that Sheetal provided legal counsel for GLH Hotels and has also worked in a private practice.
