During a 24 September video conference, Brazilian and Ukrainian officials reviewed their current defence industry relationship and discussed “ways to intensify it”, UOP said the following day.

Brazil’s delegation included Marcus Rosas Dego Pontis, director of the Secretariat for Defense Products at the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, and several foreign affairs and trade development officials.

Ukraine’s representatives included Ambassador to Brazil Rostyslav Tronenko; Defense Attaché to Brazil Volodymyr Savchenko; Mykhailo Morozov, UOP’s deputy director general for marketing and sales; and several others.

“The initiated dialogue is an important event for the development of co-operation between the defence industries of both countries and is currently a priority for the development of relations between Ukraine and Brazil,” UOP said.
