Our Janes
Engagement Team (JET)
An outstanding workplace means involving everyone from all parts of the business, and our Janes Engagement Team (JET) acts as an ambassador for Janes values and culture. JET’s mandate is to help Janes maintain a culture of openness, transparency, and inclusion. It provides colleagues with a voice and a way to become involved in shaping the people agenda at Janes. JET’s role is to:
- Promote a ‘one team’ ethos by bringing forward ideas, insights, and actionable data, which build collaboration across different teams and locations.
- Shape people-agenda plans and priorities to ensure Janes is an environment of inclusion, innovation, and career development.
- Identify, propose, and drive initiatives and improvements to embed the Janes values and leadership code.
- Ensure as many colleagues and teams as possible are involved in helping the business move forward.
- Work with the leadership team to drive key initiatives and improvements in wellbeing, DE&I, CSR, and social activities.
ESG and sustainability
Environment
Janes is an environmentally conscious business. We understand that sustainability and the mitigation of climate change reduce the drivers of threats to global security. We commit to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year, and to measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions. We aim to optimize the energy efficiency of our offices and facilitate greener choices by our colleagues.
